Information about displaying offers in the product catalog

For better orientation in the product catalog, we give you a choice between several categories of offer display, namely:

• Most popular
• Cheapest
• Most reviews
• Most expensive

Most Popular Products

Among the most popular product listings, we display products that are marked as "Sponsored". Brands and exclusive distributors highlight these products to appear in prominent positions. Our advertising system allows them to promote their products through an auction process, where the highest bid per click secures the top positions (positions 1, 4 and 7) in the product listing and search results. We display other products that are not marked as "Sponsored" based on customer ratings of the product, its sales, and the number of stores that offer the product (always sorted in descending order, or from best to worst).

Cheapest products

We display the cheapest products with respect to the current price of the products (always sorted in ascending order). When sorting products, we always base our ranking on the cheapest offer offered by a specific store for the product. In this ranking, we base our ranking on the data provided by the store using an XML feed.

Most reviews

We rank all products with the most reviews according to the total number of verified product reviews (always sorted in descending order).

Most expensive products

We display the most expensive products with respect to the current price of the products (always sorted in descending order). When sorting products, we always base our ranking on the most expensive offer offered by a specific store for the product. In this ranking, we base our ranking on the data provided by the store using an XML feed.

Information on displaying store offers for a product

We rank store offers by:

• Recommendation
• Cheapest
• Cheapest including shipping
• Store ratings

Recommended offers

Among the recommended offers, we first display up to 4 offers marked as "Recommended". Recommended offers include offers from stores with the Verified by customers certificate, whose offers are promoted/sponsored using the Heureka Bidding service. Recommended offers are usually displayed only for products for which we record the offer of at least 2 e-shops. If there is a larger number (usually 7 or more) of e-shops that offer the given product, then the offers of the e-shops are displayed both in the "Recommended" box and also duplicated below the line. Otherwise, the offers of such e-shops are displayed only in the "Recommended" box. The following offers, which are marked as "Cheapest", are displayed according to the price of the product, starting from the cheapest, in ascending order. Offers with the same price are further sorted according to the result of the percentage of customer ratings and the "Verified by customers" certificate.

Cheapest offers

We display the cheapest offers based on the current price of the product excluding shipping (always sorted in ascending order). In this sorting, we base our ranking on the information provided by the seller using an XML feed. Offers with the same price are further sorted by the result of the percentage customer rating and the "Verified by customers" certificate.

Cheapest offers including shipping

We display the cheapest offers including shipping based on the current price of the product including its cheapest shipping (always sorted in ascending order). In this sorting, we base our ranking on the information provided by the seller using an XML feed. Offers with the same price are further sorted by the result of the percentage customer rating and the "Verified by customers" certificate.

Store rating

We display offers based on the verified store ratings (from best to worst). Stores with the same rating are further sorted by the number of store reviews.

Top product offer

"Buy via Heureka" button:

Here we display the lowest price offer for which the product can be purchased on Heureka Marketplace.

"Go to store" button:

Here we display the offer of the store that has the "Customer Verified" certificate and offers the highest fee per click on its e-shop pages. If there is no such store, the store with the lowest price offer is displayed.
