GymBeam.hu Wins National Shop of the Year 2020 Contest!

Árukereső - The National Shop of the Year contest, one of the most prestigious competitions for online stores in Hungary, was organised by Árukereső.hu for the 10th time in 2020. True, the past year was quite an unusual period for all of us, one that tested every online store, but there was no lack of enthusiasm either. The number of participants broke all previous records: more than 1,800 online stores competed for the Quality and Popularity Awards, and over 70,000 votes were cast and collected.

Among other things, the growing interest year after year is due to the fact that the National Shop of the Year awards stand for important recognition and credible feedback in Hungary’s e-commerce.

Once again, participants were eligible to enter both the Quality and Popularity categories. Votes for the winners in the latter category could be cast from 7 December to 9 February on the orszagboltja.hu website and using the voting buttons displayed on online store sites. The Quality category was open to online stores that are affiliates of the Árukereső.hu Reliable Store Programme. Prizes were awarded to programme affiliates based on their performance throughout the year and on actual customer feedback.

GymBeam.hu merited the National Shop of the Year Grand Prize for the Best Online Store in 2020, and also won the Top Quality Award in the Beauty and Health category.

In an unusual twist, two special award winners were also announced this year to mark the anniversary:

“Unfortunately, we didn’t get to raise our champagne glasses at the gala dinner we’ve held every year so far, but we wanted to give all who secured podium finishes the chance to share their success with their teams. So, we gave the winners a gift box of delicacies, so they could celebrate together, even if in a small group. Furthermore, to mark the anniversary event, winners are set to receive PPC prizes valued at HUF 8,950,000 in total this year”, added László Baka, Head of Marketing at Árukereső.hu.
