Heureka Group appoints David Chmelař as the new CEO and names Tomáš Braverman as Board Advisor

Heureka Group (“Heureka”) announces that as of September 13, David Chmelař will
assume the position of CEO, succeeding Tomáš Braverman, who becomes a non-
executive advisor to Heureka management board.

David will oversee Heureka’s push to leverage its online price comparison customer reach
across nine countries to further strengthen its position in the Central and Eastern European
e-commerce space, a process that started under Tomáš.

“I am excited to join Heureka on its successful journey and to help unlock value as it reaches
millions of customers across the region. On a personal level, I couldn’t think of a better place
to return home after eight years in Asia,” said David Chmelař, who co-founded and co-led
iPrice, a price comparison platform in Southeast Asia and Australia, until its recent
acquisition by Indonesia’s e-commerce company Bukalapak.

“I’ve been running Heureka for exactly 10 years with a great team, we have grown it tenfold.
From a local price comparison site Heureka has become a regional e-commerce player that
is the most visited shopping portal in CEE. But after ten years and about to celebrate my
40th birthday, I believe the time is right for new challenges. However, I feel a great
responsibility towards Heureka and its team, and I will continue to help in an advisory role. I
look forward to Heureka’s great successes going forward,” said Tomáš Braverman.
